Ispirazioni di fine d’anno

Fine d’anno, tempo di liste e classifiche. Ecco quindi 50 beautiful css based web designs in 2006 su SmashingMagazine: davvero un’ottima selezione, anche se a memoria, alcuni dei siti presenti nella classifica non sono stati fatti nel 2006. Altra selezione notevole, anche se un po’ più piccolina, la Top 7 Freshest Designs of 2006.
Passiamo agli showcase e siti di ispirazione: sempre SmashingMagazine propone
Crème de la crème of CSS: List of CSS Galleries che contiene link a moltissimi siti di ispirazione e showcase. A proposito di ispirazione: dopo un po’ di tempo, su CSS Zen Garden in Dicembre sono ben 7 i nuovi design: alcuni sono davvero belli anche se nel complesso (a parte un paio) li ho trovati poco originali.
Senza dubbio il 2006 è stato l’anno che ha consacrato il Web 2.0.. ma cosa contraddistingue un sito Web 2.0 graficamente? La corposa e stupenda Web 2.0 how-to design style guide ne riassume benissimo tendenze e caratteristiche.
Concludo con le previsioni per il 2007… ne ho trovate solo un paio per ora: 2007 Web Development Predictions
e 2007 web predictions.

La guida sullo stile del web 2.0 è fatta veramente bene, una delle migliori.

Sinceramente ancora devo capire se ci stiamo stupendo per una cosa banale, o se è talmente geniale aver capito che le cose semplici funzionano meglio.

A great list, and thanks to you for putting up a link to it. I think what strikes me most, in just scrolling through the list, is how remarkably eye-catching each is, never mind their actual functionality. I do think that this is a tribute to these particular designers, but also to the artistic possibilities to be found in the web. As far back as Andy Warhol, we have been aware that there can be serious beauty in advertising. But I think the web has taken that to a whole other level. All the colors are so vibrant, but beyond that there are the little touches that make these images really pop. I love the legs from SteveLeggat.com, for instance, but more than just the fact that they are an arresting image, the lightened green around them really draws attention to the image. My other favorite, though, was Olivier.danchin.neuf.fr. A brilliant take on interactivity that mimics life.
